Llanerch Vineyard

About Llanerch Vineyard

Originally a dairy farm, the first vines - a mixture of French and German hybrids, perfectly suited to the UK's climate - were planted in Llanerch in 1986. Labelled as "Cariad" wines (meaning Sweetheart or Dearest in Welsh), the wines were well received and proved hugely successful, gaining many awards. The vineyard is now fully operational, producing approximately 10,000 bottles of fine Cariad Wine each year. The current owners, The Davies family, purchased Llanerch Vineyard in 2010 and after extensive refurbishment, reopened the property in June the following year.

Conferences and Events at Llanerch Vineyard

Llanerch can cater for your event either in the Calon Lodge function suite, or in a beautiful marquee or both, accommodating up to 150 guests, and set in the scenic grounds. Exquisitely chic in the day, warm and welcoming in the evening's candlelight, the marquee benefits from it's own private entrance, dedicated bar and kitchens and a large dance floor. On most days, all of one side can be opened, leading on to a private lawn offering charming rural views across to the Garth Mountains. Group Tours to Llanerch Vineyard

We work with tour operators, clubs and associations to organise group outings. Often these are paired with lunch or afternoon tea at Llanerch Vineyard. Whether it's a delicious two course lunch in the Cariad Restaurant or a traditional afternoon tea, this venue does not disappoint. The head chef and his team use local seasonal produce wherever possible, to create a truly fine dining experience. All cakes and pastries included in afternoon tea are baked fresh each day at Llanerch Vineyard. Llanerch also offers guided tours and wine tastings between April and October. Please contact us on groups@redandgoldevents.co.uk for more information.
